DESCRIPTION: Irregular shaped galls found in groups or singly on the leaf veins, leaf petioles, flower stalks and stem of the host plant. The surface is smooth and varies from a deep purplish-red through to greenish yellow in colour. Structures usually found growing close to the apex. DISTRIBUTION: Common throughout and found from May until October HABITAT: Frequent on Annual and Common Nettle.
